I have always had a deep desire to create something. I love nature, so locally sourced wood and stones are my main materials. Although I am interested in anything that uplifts me, therefore besides bowl carving and stone engraving, recently hypertufa sculptures have also become one of my favourite pastimes. I really enjoy everything that I can make on my own.

The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul. No matter our talents, education, background, or abilities, we each have an inherent wish to create something that did not exist before. Everyone can create. You don’t need money, position, or influence in order to create something of substance or beauty. Creation brings satisfaction and fulfillment. We develop ourselves and others when we take organized matter into our hands and mold it into something of beauty.

I am a housewife and mother who spends her free time surrounded by quiet, calm and undisturbed nature. When one is surrounded by rocks and trees, maybe it is no wonder that I started collecting stones, then painting them, later on engraving them, and now green wood carving has become one of my passions because the "wood carving bug" is easily caught... 😉
The "something from nothing" idea is excellenty applied and fantastically useful; creative things can be born from each pretty stone or tree branch that is found during our walks. We just have to see what is inside them, then with some tools we can make wonders. On this page I would like to share my creations with you, that are inspired by nature. Enjoy my world!
Pictured is precious Tom-Tom's memorial stone, which I've made in our four legged friend's eternal memory. If you have experienced such a sorrow before, and you would like to erect a stone in memory of your lost pet, contact me and I would be happy to create it for you. I engrave on natural stones and the font is painted to a chosen colour. The stones are perfectly weatherproof, so they remain eternal memories...
